Student will explore different drawing tools including charcoal, pencil, and pens in this series of 4 classes. Lessons will focus on techniques, learning to see and interpret shape, negative and positive space, composition, using still life, photos, and plein air as source material. Free sketch time follows direct instruction and drawing exercises each week. Questions are answered and instruction given in the room, not on a screen. Class will be Mondays Oct 21st & 28th & Nov 4th & 11th.
You will need to bring your own 18″ x 24″ newsprint pad and drawing board, a drawing pad 8″ x 10 ” or larger. The rest of the supplies for class will be provided.
