PFLAG Meeting

PFLAG will meet Monday, May 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall to discuss current events and make final assignments for PFLAG’s appearance in upcoming the Rhody Days Parade May 19. We invite anyone from church to march with PFLAG in the parade. We have leis, flags and signs to carry. PFLAG has appeared in the parade since 2012 (even the virtual parade in 2020).

PFLAG was represented at the Florence Area Community Coalition’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Day at the Florence Events Center April 17. PFLAG has been a member of FACC since 2012 and presented to the organization January 3. Meetings are always free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served. You don’t have to be a member to attend. Mark your calendar and bring a friend.

If you’d like to join or support PFLAG’s outreach in Florence, dues are $30 per year, which includes membership in the national organization and a link to its resources. All donations, including dues, are tax-deductible.
