World Rainforest Day at the Library

This event is part of the library’s adult summer reading program. Curious about the forest and climate along the Oregon Coast? Then come join us for World Rainforest Day! Darielle Rocca, a Park Ranger from Siuslaw National Forest, will discuss the temperate rainforest that we live in. Come learn about the differences between tropical and temperate rainforests, why certain plants thrive in our rainy conditions, and some of the animals that call our forest home.
