This support group meets on the 4th Thursday of the month at 1:00pm at St. Andrew's Episcopal, 2125 19th St in Florence. It is open to people with Parkinson’s, care partners, family, and friends. This is an 8 week Beginning Ceramics Class that will introduce the basic elements of sculptural and functional clay within the tradition of making pottery. Techniques taught will include pinching, coil building, slab construction and the use of a wheel. Basics in tool use, glazing and firing will be included.
